Due to the nature of their US - Canada long distance relationship, Brian and Grace built two separate ceramic studios at home - Brian in his garage in Sacramento, and Grace in her parents' basement in Toronto. This allows Daisyo Studio to produce new work year round, even when apart, until the couple is re-united once again.
Perhaps it will be down to just one studio when they finally close the distance? Until then, it will be a mystery whether your coffee cup is a Canadian or American :)
