Graffiti ceramics
I love street art and I am experimenting with having graffiti designs on ceramic pieces as well - these are painted using underglazes and fired with clear glaze. So far, so good!
(The one in the picture says "Daisyo" on it)
Subway tiles (literally!)
The chevron tile cups - "dragon eggs" - are made using stencils cut by a Cameo Silhouette machine. This means other tile designs are possible to achieve as well! Toronto's TTC stations have tiles of various shapes and colours that I would like to see on my ceramic pieces!
Toronto streets in watercolours
I find urban landscapes, specifically buildings, difficult to paint, so I have been working extra hard painting corners of Toronto that I love.
The good ones will be turned into postcards/prints and I will put them for sale on the store!
