This is a printed postcard of my acrylic painting Chevron Sunset! It adorns the feature wall of my living room in Toronto. It was painted in 2022.

I am drawn to chevron and herringbone patterns and use them often in my artwork, such as paintings like this one and my ceramic work as well. Each painting starts out as an abstract painting with random colours and shapes (the most fun part!), and the "tile" outlines are then drawn on top with a good old ruler. Some tiles are filed out with solid colours to balance out the overall composition. You can see the original, more abstract painting left as is in some of the tiles, giving the feeling of looking through panes of a window.

These postcards are 6x4 inches in size, and they were printed on 15PT thick paper, 300 GSM. The back side is blank for your message, with address lines and a spot for the stamp as well (please refer to the photo to see the back).
